Have I ever mentioned......................

Have I ever mentioned that I offer services? {I am not very good at marketing myself}

*Honestly it all goes hand in hand. Everything I do, I do in Adobe Illustrator. I design rubber stamps which satisfies my need for creating my own happy go lucky innocent world.

Seeing it come to life on a handmade card is my favorite part of the process.

*I just recently started selling vectors on Shutterstock, to add a little color to my life.

But where I got all of my practice was turning pixelated images into crisp, clear ones.

So these are the things that I love to do!
Design.
Design.
&
Recreate the design.

If you have any artwork or logo's that you need cleaned up, please let me know.
I would be so HAPPY to help.

Gratitude.........................

Everyday we MUST remember how blessed & lucky we are. Even the worst days are better than no days lived. Hearing what we hear, seeing what we see, feeling what we feel is our own unique experience. I am truly grateful for everything I have, especially the DREAMS that I am still working toward. The fact that I am still dreaming, let's me know that I am alive.

“Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.”
Marcel Proust

“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson

“We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives.”
John F. Kennedy

“Walk as if you are kissing the Earth with your feet.”
Thich Nhat Hanh

“Some people grumble that roses have thorns; I am grateful that thorns have roses.”
Alphonse Karr

Black & White + Coloring Myself HAPPY

I have been working in black & white since 2009 because I design rubber stamps. {which I love} & {I love Unity Stamp Company for accepting me when I was rusty}

Well since 2012 was a bad year (losing my mom) I decided to focus my energies with a positive outlet. I figured working in color might brighten me up. So......I decided to try my luck at Shutterstock, and I am so very happy that they accepted me as a contributor.

My plan now is to Create. Create. Create. Focus. Create. Color & Black and White should balance me out sweetly.

She can fly.

May 31st 2012

My mama flew into the sunset to receive her wings.

She must of known that her three girls were together.
I believe she waited.
and although we knew it was coming
we didn't want it to.
We received that phone call.
She took her last breath.

Her courage was amazing.
She gave it her all,
but the chemo knocked her down.
She was tired.
She was in pain.
She never complained. never.

When you lose your mama,
you realize that the silly things you worried about in life,
mean nothing at all.

I am so grateful that my mom taught me that the best things in life aren't things.
Happiness is not obtained through objects.
I will see in her nature.

My mom's favorite thing was to watch birds,
and now she can fly.

I love and miss you mama.
